Newton’s 3rd law states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This principle is the same in our life as well. Lord Krishna said in Bhagawat Gita: you get what you give to life. Your Karma follows you forever. Is life really as complex as we make it seem? Is the ocean as deep as it looks? Is God as far as we think?

All these questions can be answered depending on our perspectives. When we see a glass half-filled with water, to one it may be half full and to another it may be half empty. The sea may be deep to one and shallow to another. This all depends on our definition of deep and shallow or how we think of far and close to determine where God is. It depends on how far we can go to find him. For some, he is right within us while for others he is far up in the sky. Whichever we think is acceptable. There is no right or wrong answer to these questions. We will only see what we make ourselves see.

There are so many questions in our mind that we keep chasing answers for. I remember once a student told me at a conference room “Science squashed the existence of God”. I got very worked up over that thought. I had argued with the student that day but after couple of weeks I realized I cannot change anyone’s mind about God or Life. It is just the way we look at things. Going back to my original thought, is the glass half full or half empty? Same way, for him “Science squashed the existence of God” while for me Science is a way of discovering how God made the world and humans which may assist us in treating diseases.
