Chakras, Planets and Consciousness
The seven Chakras in the human body have special relationship with the science of astrology. These Chakras are spiritual in their form and form part of the all powerful Sri Chakra with each Chakra representing a particular planet.
These Chakras, known as Muladhara, Swadisthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddi, Aajna and Sahasrara, are the only sources available for the humans interested in attaining the Brahmajnan or the ultimate truth as enunciated by the ancient Indian Rishis (sages). On the face of it, exploring the Chakras has two purposes like any other form of meditation: one is attaining perfect health and the other is attaining highest consciousness. Highest consciousness is nothing but the awakened state of consciousness lying there in the human body all the time.
One has to reach the highest Chakra exploring the Chakras step by step and overcoming several blockades present in the body to reach the Crown Chakra, the perfect state of spirituality or highest state of consciousness.
Ever since the dawn of modern times, the human mind has been relentlessly trying without success to explore the dominating secrets of human life and creation. This will continue for hundreds of thousands of generations together to come, yet without success. It must also be argued in this connection that the ancient Indian sages had the best brains for research and were more knowledgeable than the modern scientists of the day who have been changing their theories day by day.
